The Chinese philosophy contains the law of the FIVE ELEMENTS which also includes the earth which is deemed to be the centre of energetic effects. The seasons such as spring, summer, autumn and winter, as well as late summer, were included, their effects on the body and thus organic reactions noted.
This rotating cycle of essential energy expressing itself in the rotation of the seasons, also effects man's life which as a result is subject to these energetic influences.
Accordingly, each organ has its equivalent in the cosmic law of the Five Elements. Each element affects our organism for a certain period of time during the year in which two organs connected with each other take over the energetic dominance in the organism. Not only the seasonal cycle, but also the day, that is to say the 24 hours have an energetically maximum and minimum phase of each organ in a two hours' rhythm.
A good knowledge of ourselves enables us to better understand signs such as tiredness and uneasiness which appear in the course of the day.
These effects rule our entire life. |
